🏆 Kent County Match Report – Sunday 21 September 2025


A fantastic day of competitive short mat bowls at Ashford Indoor Bowls Club, with all three Kent teams in action. Here’s how the matches unfolded:


Castles vs Hampshire

Final Score: Kent 33 – Hampshire 7 Shots: Kent 236 – Hampshire 133

 Manager’s Highlights: A solid performance from Trevor, Paul, Paula, and Julian, especially impressive as a newly formed team. Great teamwork and consistency throughout the day—well done!


 Hops vs East Sussex

Final Score: Kent 18 – East Sussex 22 Shots: Kent 188 – East Sussex 215

 Captain’s Highlights: Strong individual performances from Matt and Alan in the singles. A close contest against a very strong East Sussex side—this result could have gone either way. Great effort all round!


B Team vs Surrey

Final Score: Kent 32 – Surrey 8 Shots: Kent 235 – Surrey 133 Another dominant display from the B Team, showing depth and determination across all disciplines.
